Acclaimed filmmaker Quentin Tarantino is set to collaborate with journalist-author Jay Glennie on an exclusive series of behind-the-scenes books exploring the making of three of his most celebrated films. The project will launch with The Making of Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood.
Scheduled for publication by Insight Editions, the first volume will be a visually rich, coffee table-sized book spanning approximately 400 pages. It will feature exclusive new interviews with the star-studded cast, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Mikey Madison, Margaret Qualley, Austin Butler, Lena Dunham, Kurt Russell, Dakota Fanning, Emile Hirsch, Damian Lewis, Maya Hawke, and Sydney Sweeney.
In addition to these interviews, Tarantino has contributed rare behind-the-scenes photographs, production notes, concept art, and production sketches. These materials aim to provide readers with a comprehensive and immersive look into the creative process behind the film.
Following the release of this first installment, the series will continue with books on Inglourious Basterds and Django Unchained, scheduled for publication in 2026 and 2027, respectively.
