Prominent art patron and cultural figure Shalini Passi is set to make her literary debut in 2026 with a memoir-meets-manifesto to be published by Penguin Random House India under its Ebury Press imprint.
Best known for her distinctive aesthetic and fearless approach to self-expression, Passi’s forthcoming book will explore her personal journey through art, fashion, and identity. The title of the book has not yet been announced.
Speaking about the project, Passi said, “Who says you can’t be glamorous and game-changing? My book is my love letter to fabulous, fearless living—with heels on, heart open, and art everywhere. I’m grateful to have found the right partners for this journey.” She also acknowledged literary agent Preeti Chaturvedi of The Sunflower Seeds and thanked the publishing house for its support.
Penguin Random House India acquired the rights to the book through Chaturvedi, whose consultancy is known for representing distinctive and personality-driven voices. The publisher describes the upcoming release as a deeply personal narrative that blends storytelling with bold reflections on authenticity and creativity.

Passi recently gained mainstream attention through her appearance on Bigg Boss 18 and Netflix’s Fabulous Lives Vs. Bollywood Wives, which won Best Reality/Non-Scripted Series at the 2025 IIFA Awards. She is widely regarded for her contributions to India’s contemporary art landscape and her bold fashion sensibilities.
