Feldman’s Books will host its monthly Historical Novels Book Club meeting on Thursday, May 15, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at its location on 1075 Curtis Street.
Attendees are invited to enjoy wine and light refreshments while participating in a discussion of Under the Banner of Heaven by Jon Krakauer. The nonfiction work, often described as “true fiction” for its narrative style, explores a contemporary double murder through the lens of Mormon history and religious fundamentalism.
The event is open to the public, and readers with an interest in historical narratives and true crime are especially encouraged to attend.
