Local author Dr. Shawna M. Dixon will hold a book signing this Saturday to celebrate the release of her latest work, Transformed by Trials: A Practical Guide for Finding Purpose in Pain, Discovering Strength in Struggle and Being Healed from Hurt.
The event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The New Occasion Event Center, located at 4200 W. Stan Schlueter Loop, Suite 203.
Dixon, a Killeen resident and motivational speaker, said the book draws from personal experiences and aims to help readers navigate difficult seasons in life by offering faith-based insights and practical encouragement.
The book signing is open to the public. Copies of Transformed by Trials will be available for purchase, and attendees will have an opportunity to meet the author and receive a personalized signature.
